As a Senior OT specializing in older persons, you will drive the functional perspective within our multidisciplinary team, providing expert consultation on complex cases and supervising junior clinicians. You will lead the development of evidence-based interventions that support aging in place and social inclusion. Our Rockhampton-based teams, including the Older Persons Inpatient Unit and Community Services Team, serve as the clinical hub for Central Queensland. About the role:
* Deliver advanced OT assessments and functional interventions for seniors.
* Provide clinical leadership and supervision for OT staff and students.
* Develop clinical protocols to improve functional outcomes for consumers.
* Facilitate equipment prescription and environmental modifications.
* Lead multidisciplinary case discussions focused on recovery.
About you:
* You hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and registration with AHPRA.
* You possess advanced clinical competency in geriatric mental health.
* You have high-level interpersonal skills and multidisciplinary focus.
* You can implement policies and lead quality improvement projects.
* You are experienced in providing clinical supervision and mentoring.
What we offer:
Total remuneration value of up to $13,113 p.m. is comprised of:
* An hourly rate between $ $69.55 p.h.
* 12.75% employer superannuation contribution
