Occupational Therapist - Mental Health (Locum)
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist passionate about making a difference in mental health. We have an exciting locum opportunity in regional South Australia, offering a rewarding role and a chance to explore a unique part of the country.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct comprehensive intake assessments for people presenting with mental health concerns.
* Triage referrals and determine appropriate pathways for care.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and community services.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
* Provide brief interventions and crisis support as needed.
About You:
* Degree in Occupational Therapy + current AHPRA registration.
* Minimum 2 years experience in mental health settings (community or inpatient).
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work autonomously and adapt to diverse environments.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Can start immediately or within a short timeframe.
