OverviewWe're looking for an experienced Butchery Team Member to join us on a casual basis.As a Butchery Team Member, you'll support our butchers in preparing, wrapping, and presenting a wide range of fresh meat and poultry products.
You'll maintain clean, well-stocked and attractive displays, ensure products are handled safely, and assist customers with their requests at the counter.If you take pride in quality, efficiency, and delivering excellent service, we'd love to hear from you!
ResponsibilitiesSupport the butchers in preparing, wrapping and presenting meat and poultry products.Maintain clean, well-stocked and attractive displays.Handle products safely and assist customers at the counter.You will needProven experience in wrapping and packing meat.Be skilled in preparing value-added meat products.Enjoy working as part of a fast-paced team.A friendly attitude and good communication skills, to provide the attentive customer service Hill Street is known for.To be comfortable handling meat and seafood (both cooked and uncooked).
A love of working with people (both colleagues and customers).
Energy, initiative and willingness to take direction.The ability to follow company procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety.Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend.
