Are you a CNC Machine Setter looking to play a vital role in the setup and manufacture of precision CNC machined parts? Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the first-offs meet the required specifications, and you maintain effective use of CNC machinery as well as: Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently. Set up and manufacture parts, ensuring adherence to manufacturing standards. Monitor CNC Machine Operators to guarantee compliance with operational instructions. Produce high-quality parts that meet stringent quality standards. Read and interpret engineering drawings/diagrams and utilise calibrated measuring equipment appropriately. Skills and experience required Trade Certified Machinist or currently pursuing accredited training to obtain a Trade Certificate (preferred). Proficient in recognising and using calibrated measuring equipment. Experience in CNC machinery operation. Knowledge of the Defence Industry is highly advantageous. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Familiarity with Quality Standards and Requirements. Proven ability to train and mentor others.
