We welcome the skills, experiences and perspectives of all people to ensure our workforce is representative of the communities we work with and live in.

The Aged Care Volunteer Coordinator will:

* Recruit, screen and onboard volunteers to participate in the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), ensuring all suitability, safeguarding and compliance requirements are met.
* Match volunteers with older participants based on individual needs, preferences, cultural considerations and program guidelines to support safe, meaningful social connections.
* Provide ongoing support, supervision and engagement to volunteers, including training, check‐ins, recognition and issue resolution to promote retention and positive experiences.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with volunteers, participants, families, aged care providers and community stakeholders to support effective service delivery.
* Coordinate volunteer visits and service delivery, ensuring schedules are planned, monitored and adapted to maintain continuity, quality and participant wellbeing.
* Maintain accurate records and reporting, including volunteer and participant documentation, compliance reporting and KPI tracking in line with funding and organisational requirements.
* Ensure safeguarding, risk management and quality standards are upheld at all times, proactively identifying and responding to concerns, incidents or emerging risks.
* Contribute to continuous improvement by monitoring outcomes, gathering feedback and identifying opportunities to enhance program quality, inclusion and reach.

Who we are looking for:

The successful applicant for this position will:

* Be a community‐focused professional with experience in coordination, customer service, and stakeholder engagement.
* Have demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, manage competing priorities, and maintain accurate records.
* Have a commitment to person‐centred and inclusive practice, with an understanding of aged care principles, safeguarding, and support for socially‐isolated individuals.
* Be highly organised with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem‐solving and continuous improvement.
* Be fully vaccinated against COVID and maintain an annual influenza vaccination.
