Job Summary
Step into a meaningful Locum Sonographer role in Tennant Creek, where your expertise directly supports a predominantly Indigenous community. Enjoy a balanced general and obstetric caseload, modern equipment, and the autonomy to manage your own list—while making a genuine difference every day.
Skills and experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working as a Sonographer in a hospital setting.
- Strong competency across general and obstetric ultrasound, with the ability to manage a 50/50 case mix (general and obstetrics).
- Ability to work autonomously, including managing your own patient list and prioritising urgent ED cases.
- Experience working with or the ability to quickly adapt to Toshiba Aplio 500 ultrasound machines and Synapse RIS.
- Confidence working without a radiologist on site, ensuring protected, accurate scanning and adherence to site protocols and procedures.
