About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Storeperson / Despatch Hand to join our small but dynamic team in Geraldton. This role is hands-on, focusing on picking, packing and preparing orders for customer pick-ups and deliveries, with some transactional customer service and internal sales support as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick, pack, wrap and strap goods for customer pick-ups and transport deliveries
* Load and unload trucks and utes using forklifts and other equipment
* Maintain stock levels and keep storage areas organised
* Process customer and purchase orders accurately in company systems
* Provide basic customer service and internal sales support (phone, email and face-to-face)
* Maintain a clean, safe and tidy yard and despatch area
* Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or incident
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Forklift licence (essential)
* Experience in stores or despatch environments
* Good attention to detail and time management
* Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
* Computer literacy
* Safety-conscious and reliable
