What You'll Do
As Manufacturing Manager, you will report to the National Manufacturing Manager and lead the West Coast team. Your responsibilities include planning, organising, directing and running day‐to‐day operations to exceed customer expectations. You will work closely with operations, logistics and manufacturing teams to ensure product availability to meet forecasted demand.
Typical Responsibilities
* Ensure production is delivered safely on time, to the agreed quality and budget requirements.
* Execute the production schedule in conjunction with the Production Manager.
* Assess production and resource requirements for the facility.
* Ensure Health & Safety and storage regulations are met.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and accountability across the site.
* Implement a preventative maintenance system for all assets.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase site efficiency and reduce cost per litre.
* Minimise facility downtime to improve operational performance and cost efficiency.
* Lead training and development of staff, ensuring compliance with manufacturer and company requirements regarding hazardous substances.
* Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, and coordinate internal and external audits.
What You'll Bring
* Demonstrated success in a similar Manufacturing Manager role.
* Experience in the AgChem industry or knowledge of agricultural products and practices strongly preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills, outstanding communication capabilities, and the ability to influence others at all levels.
* Previous people‐management experience with strong leadership skills.
* Manufacturing scheduling and lean manufacturing experience highly desirable.
* Strong computer skills, including MS Office; previous experience with SAP is an advantage.
