About therole
Our Home Careleadership team have a new opportunity for an OperationsSupport Manager. Reporting to our General Manager –Community this role is responsible for leading the home care teamswithin the designated reporting areas of South Metro and South-Westto ensure successful delivery of quality services within a clientdirected model of care.
* Full-time,permanent role based in our Port Kennedy home careoffice
* Regular travelto Bunbury / Eaton and our Support Services Office in WestPerth
* This role ismainly office based, with some consideration for flexibleworking and the opportunity to WFH
* Person-centredservice delivery including identifying opportunities forchange, collaborating to develop solutions and implementingchange within a planned framework
* Peoplemanagement: providing direction and leadership to your teamincluding supporting their performance development
* Knowledge ofcommunity resources and external relationships: includingdeveloping sustainable relationships with local networks andexternal agencies
* Financialmanagement including monitoring of productivity andperformance
Aboutyou
You will bringenthusiasm and a passion for building supportive, high-performingteams and a commitment to operational excellence within the homecare sector. To be considered as a suitable applicant you will beable to demonstrate:
* Relevanttertiary qualifications
* Peopleleadership experience: intermediate management level experiencewithin a person-centred care context in the aged careindustry
* Leadership andteam development: demonstrated leadership skills for supportingand developing a home care team, along with experience incoaching, mentoring, and supervision
* Financialacumen: strong financial acumen to manage designated budgetsand experience in developing and managing clientbudgets
* Communicationand computer skills: excellent verbal and written communicationskills, good computer skills, and the ability to confidentlyuse Microsoft Word, Excel, and electronic client managementsystem (AlayaCare or similar)
