Our people are at the heart of our business and we're recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our Australian team. You'll primarily be based in our Melbourne office, travelling to our Sydney office once a month. Hybrid working is available (3 days in the office and 2 at home). This is an exciting time to join us as we're rapidly expanding our global operations.
What You'll Do
* Reporting to our Chief of People based in the UK, you'll be our HR person on-site in Australia, supporting our employees and the Leadership Team
* You'll manage the day-to-day running of HR in Australia, providing HR advice to managers and employees on a range of HR matters
* You'll manage the employee life-cycle including recruitment and onboarding and support with HR projects
* You'll support with fostering and nurturing employee engagement
* You'll manage the HRIS system and provide HR reporting/metrics to the CPO
* You'll work alongside the UK team to ensure we think globally but act locally
What We're Looking For
* You'll be an experienced HR professional with great communication skills
* This is a hands on role in a standalone position with international support
* You'll have experience of supporting daily with HR activities
* You'll be proactive and always looking for ways that we can continually improve
* You'll have knowledge of policy creation and be able to demonstrate an in-depth understanding of Australian employment law
* You'll have experience of managing HRIS system and employee data
* You'll have experience of recruitment/ talent acquisition
