About The Role
Sydney Water is excited to be hiring a project lead to assist in a laboratory relocation project Your role will play a key role in the seamless relocation of our laboratory operations from West Ryde to our new, state-of-the-art facility in North Ryde.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your laboratory expertise in a dynamic project environment
Key Responsibilities
You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the relocation project. Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating meetings, capturing minutes, and tracking actions
* Maintaining project documentation including logs and schedules
* Supporting site presentations and internal communications
* Collaborating with the Change team to develop clear transition instructions for staff
* Assisting with procurement activities related to the relocation
* Acting as the central point of contact during the transition phase
About You
We are looking for someone with:
* A growth mindset and strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience working in complex commercial laboratory environments
* Ideally, exposure to the water industry and project-based work
