Total Remuneration Package: Remuneration package valued at up to $151,704.00. Base salary ranges from $87,550.00 to $133,846.00, plus leave loading and employer\'s contribution to superannuation. Base salary rates above the minimum are available depending on experience.

Position Information 
Narooma Public School is a rural/coastal primary school on the Far South Coast of NSW. We are a medium-sized Primary School with a fluctuating enrolment. 20-25% of students identify as being from Aboriginal background. The school has a excellent history and strong traditions of academic and sporting excellence. Narooma Public School aims to build on our rich history by providing students with a balanced, comprehensive, challenging and stimulating curriculum focusing on the future. We aim to provide a safe, happy and caring educational environment so that each student can reach their full potential. 
Specific Selection Criteria 
- Approval to teach Hearing Impairment. Successful teaching experience with the capacity to initiate improvement in teaching and learning in meeting the personalised learning and differentiation needs of students with hearing loss and with other complex disabilities. 
- Knowledge of curriculum, assessment, and student wellbeing with the capacity to plan and evaluate high quality differentiation, Literacy and Numeracy programs with improved outcomes and student engagement. 
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build collaborative relationships and engage students, staff, parents and stakeholders. 
- Experience and/or willingness to engage in professional learning, including, but not limited to Auslan, and relationship with student self-advocacy disability skills. 
Conditions 
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
