About the Role
Reporting to the Team Leader – People and Culture, you will be responsible for the design, delivery and evaluation of learning and organisational development initiatives that build individual and organisational capability.
This is a hands-on role that requires a forward-thinking mindset, with the ability to engage stakeholders across various levels of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement innovative learning and organisational development programs.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, external providers, SMEs, and system owners to ensure program effectiveness.
Proactively identify learning needs across the organisation and recommend targeted solutions.
Maintain and refresh existing programs and training materials to reflect current best practices and evolving business needs.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need a blend of technical knowledge, stakeholder engagement skills and a proactive approach to learning development.
You Will Bring
Strong understanding of adult learning principles and contemporary L&D practices.
Ability to interpret legislative and business requirements and translate these into learning solutions.
Proven experience developing, implementing, and evaluating training initiatives.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
Qualifications and Experience (Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following)
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE***** or equivalent).
Tertiary qualifications in Education, Human Resources or a related field.
Proven experience developing L&D content and programs.
Demonstrated experience working with trades, apprentices and trainees in technical or operational environments (e.g. heavy industry, construction or mining).
Knowledge of VET (Vocational Education and Training) legislation and frameworks.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LMS platforms, e-learning authoring tools, Adobe Creative Suite.
