We currently have an opportunity for a Weighbridge Administration Assistant to join our Waste Services team working at our depot in Minnamurra.

As Weighbridge Administration Assistant, you will accurately operate the weighbridge system, provide quick and responsive standards of service, and communicate effectively with customers to ensure materials to be dropped off are permissible.
What we offer...
1. Temporary full-time position, 35 hours per week for twelve months with a possible extension of up to twelve months
2. Commencing annual salary from $59,932 to $66,075
(salary is dependent on qualifications, skills and experience)
3. Annual performance-based progression opportunity to earn up to $72,848
4. Plus 12% superannuation
5. Penalties and allowances paid in accordance with the award.
What you'll need to be successful in the role...
The ideal candidate will demonstrate confident communication and professional writing abilities to maintain accuracy across all reports, emails, and records. We require a proactive individual with exceptional attention to detail who is consistently punctual and reliable. In addition to this, it's essential that you have:
* A minimum 2 years of administrative experience in an office, customer service, or business support environment
* Proficiency with common office software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) or equivalent tools
* The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
* The ability to learn new software or internal systems quickly
* Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage competing demands
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
Although not required, it would be beneficial to have any of the following:
* Proficiency in MS Office, databases and spreadsheets
* Cash handling experience including calculating fees and balance takings
* The ability to operate a Weighbridge computer system
* Availability to work on Public Holidays and Saturdays if required.
