About the Role They are seeking a highly motivated and strategic sales leader to join our team as National Sales Manager – Residential & Irrigation. Based in Melbourne, this pivotal role is responsible for driving nationwide sales performance, expanding market presence across Australia and New Zealand, and leading a high-performing team. You will play a key role in shaping and executing sales strategies, developing business opportunities, and representing the company at industry events. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and inspire regional sales teams to exceed company objectives. Develop and execute national sales strategies aligned with business goals. Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning. Strengthen and grow key customer and distributor relationships. Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities and markets. Drive marketing and product development collaboration to support growth. Lead the commercialization of new product lines. Deliver timely, data-driven sales reports and insights. Represent the business at trade shows, conferences, and industry forums. Provide technical workshops and promote new product development. Ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction across channels. Uphold high standards of ethical and professional conduct. Skills and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business or Sales. Minimum 5 years of sales leadership experience, ideally in the Water Irrigation/Pumps industry. Demonstrated success in sales strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth. Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in coaching and performance management. Proficient in SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications. Financially astute with experience in P&L, budgeting, and forecasting. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities. Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Willingness to travel approximately 50% across the region. Melbourne-based role with in-office presence required.
