Overview
We are seeking a CSSD Technician to join our Sterilisation Team at Tamara Private Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for reprocessing reusable medical devices, including decontamination, processing, assembly, inspection, wrapping, and sterilisation. You will work closely with the perioperative team to ensure high standards of sterilisation and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
Process instruments, trays, and equipment efficiently within the department.
Maintain workflow and communication between Operating Theatre areas and CSSD.
Ensure compliance with sterilisation standards and high operational standards.
Qualifications and Skills
Certificate 3 qualification in Sterilising Services (desirable).
Experience in a Sterilising Unit (preferred).
Positive attitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Knowledge of AS 5369:2023 principles (desirable).
