Accounts Payable Officer

Due to our recent tender success and significant growth Global Skills is currently looking to fill an Accounts Payable Officer position located at our Penrith Head Office.
Global Skills is supportive of candidates looking to enter the Employment Services Industry for the first time and welcomes applications from both experienced and non-experienced individuals.
Responsibilities
* Collation of invoices and checking for completeness and accuracy
* Collation of Job Seeker payment requests ensuring claims are checked for completeness and accuracy as per Department guidelines
* Data entry of supplier invoices and Job Seeker expense into MYOB
* Maintain internal filing and documentation of all Jobseeker and account payment records
* Review and top up of Petty cash claims and expenditure
* Complete Employment Fund Claims in ESS ensuring that the claim is accurate and as per contractual guidelines
* Auditing claims submitted by other team members
* Assist all management & staff with other adhoc administration tasks
* Maintain accurate financial records and administration
Qualifications
* Excellent time management and organisational skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage high volume invoicing.
* Be willing to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Working with Children Check, Bankruptcy check and other checks as deemed necessary.
* Be eligible to work in Australia.
* Be expected to comply with all Information Security and Privacy requirements.
