Engineering Civil Sydney Permanent / Full Time Join a very well-established structural & civil engineering consultancy AutoCAD and Civil 3D experience is essential for this role (at an advanced level Relevant tertiary engineering qualifications highly regarded Are you self-motivated and eager to learn with 3yrs local experience? This is an opportunity to apply and grow your existing knowledge in Civil Design with a well-established firm, having developed close relationships with major players in retail, commercial and industrial. Responsibilities: Expertise: Provide technical expertise and engineering advice on various types of projects, including industrial, commercial, and retail projects. Develop concept and detailed engineering designs for a range of components, including hardstands, car park levels, pavements, stormwater networks, treatment systems, and roof drainage. Prepare design drawings, including drafting work, to communicate engineering designs effectively. Regulatory Approvals: Liaise with local authorities and Councils to obtain the necessary design approvals for the projects. Project Coordination: Coordinate and communicate with various stakeholders, (consultants, builders, developers) to ensure projects are delivered on time. Qualifications and Skills: Background: Advanced AutoCAD and Civil 3D essential. 2-3yrs industry exp. pref. in industrial, commercial & retail. Civil degree or similar (not essential). Standards & Guidelines: Understand and apply relevant Australian Standards, local Council standards, VicRoads specifications, and Ausroads guidelines to your work.
