What you'll be doing
Responsible to the Principal Medicines Information Pharmacist for the provision of specialist medicines information services to patients and staff of Westmead Hospital. Scope also includes community services directly associated with Westmead Hospital and medicines-related committees of WSLHD.

Essential Criteria:
* Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g Bachelor of Pharmacy. Must satisfy Grade 2 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award
* Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
* Demonstrated excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
* Demonstrated extensive experience in clinical hospital pharmacy practice or equivalent appropriate clinical background experience.
* Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical practice.
* Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.
* Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
* Demonstrated commitment to quality use of medicines and pursuit of excellence in pharmaceutical practice.
* Demonstrated attention to detail.
* Demonstrated skills in information technology: using computer applications including dispensing, database management, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
