About This Role
As an Administration Officer, you'll play a vital role in supporting patient flow and operational efficiency across Logan Hospital. Working within the Corporate Services team, you'll provide high-quality administrative support, manage documentation and communication processes, and contribute to a positive experience for patients, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day‑to‑day admin support, including reception, records management, word processing, and data entry.
* Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, ensuring clear and professional communication.
* Coordinate meetings, diaries, and correspondence for management and clinical teams.
* Support patient admissions, transfers, and discharges through accurate system updates.
* Manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within administrative processes.
About You
You're a detail‑oriented and adaptable admin professional who thrives in dynamic environments. You bring excellent communication skills, strong organisation, and a passion for providing outstanding service. You can manage competing tasks while maintaining a calm, professional presence and a strong team focus.
Skills & Experience
* Proven administrative or secretariat experience within a large or complex organisation.
* Strong verbal and written communication with a focus on professionalism and discretion.
* Excellent time management and problem‑solving abilities.
* Confident computer skills, including accurate data entry and system management.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Previous experience in healthcare administration (desirable).

By 2027, we will have more beds and five more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
