As a Health and Safety Advisor- Risk & Assurance, you are expected to:
* Contribute to construction risk assessment workshops
* Contribute to delivery of the health and safety audit and assurance plan
* Perform a range of health and safety assurance activities in the field including audits, inspections, and operator competency reviews
* Review construction work planning and ensure methods and controls are being delivered in the field ss planned
* Support of the health and safety of our construction subcontractors through facilitating kick off meetings, assurance activities, communications, and performance monitoring.
* Contribute to identifying innovative solutions to improve health and safety performance and mitigate risk
* Maintain and ensure the data integrity of a project health and safety risk and data library to help inform future planning and risk assessments
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the project's management plan and project management system documentation
* Any other health and safety duties as required to ensure efficient and safe delivery of the project.
Key Skills/Requirements:
* Health and safety qualified
* Experience with construction risks and risk workshops
* Auditing experience; Lead Auditor (preferred)
* Experience within a Tier 1 or 2 company and the management of subcontractors
* Data literate with good analytical skills
* Proficient with technology and digital systems
* Attention to detail
* Client liaison and interface skills
