The Role
As our Head Chef/Senior Sous Chef, you'll guide and inspire the kitchen team while working closely with the owner to develop creative, seasonal menus that reflect our ethos and style. This is a hands‑on, leadership‑focused role ideal for a chef who thrives in a fast‑paced, quality‑driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, train, mentor, and motivate the kitchen team
* Create and execute dishes with a seasonality approach.
* Oversee stock control, ordering, and inventory management.
* Maintain smooth, efficient daily kitchen operations.
* Ensure the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness, and compliance.
What You Bring
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar leadership role.
* Strong skills in seasonal, modern Australian menu development.
* Energetic, positive leadership style and a team‑first mindset.
* Excellent communication, organisation, and multitasking abilities.
* High attention to detail and a passion for guest experience.
* Availability for evening and weekend shifts.
Requirements
* Food Safety Supervisor Certificate.
* Full Australian working rights.
