An opportunity has become available for a Project Administrator to join a well-established Tier 1 mechanical contractor based in Melbourne.
This business delivers large-scale HVAC and mechanical services projects across sectors including commercial construction, healthcare, data centres, infrastructure and mixed-use developments.
Due to continued project growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to add an organised and proactive Project Administrator to support their delivery team.
Working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and Site Teams, this role will play a key part in supporting the day-to-day coordination and administration of major mechanical construction projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support to Project Managers and delivery teams
* Assist with project documentation, reporting and file management
* Coordinate subcontractor onboarding and compliance documentation
* Manage purchase orders, invoices and project cost tracking support
* Assist with programming updates and project scheduling administration
* Maintain project registers, RFIs, variations and document control systems
* Coordinate meetings, minutes and project correspondence
* Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams
* Assist with procurement administration and material tracking
* Support site teams with general project coordination requirements
About You
* Previous experience in a Project Administrator, Contracts Administrator or Construction Administration role
* Experience within construction, building services or mechanical/HVAC contracting highly regarded
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities across fast-paced projects
* High attention to detail and strong documentation skills
* Experience using project management/document control systems beneficial
* Strong team player with a proactive attitude
