The Role – Security Technician

You'll work as part of a highly skilled team, where you will:

* Install, service and commission security and nurse call systems to the highest standards.
* Provide technical support to clients and colleagues.
* Attend routine, non-routine, and after-hours service calls, diagnosing and repairing systems as required.
* Deliver accurate service reports promptly for invoicing and job tracking.
* Represent Teknocorp professionally at client sites.
* Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines and complete admin tasks.
* Apply troubleshooting skills to resolve equipment or software issues.

What You'll Bring

* Experience in security and / or nurse call system service, maintenance, and installation.
* Knowledge of IP CCTV, Access Control, and Alarm Systems.
* Hands-on experience with systems such as Gallagher, Inner Range, Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon.
* Experience with Austco or Sedco Nurse Call products would be highly advantageous although training can be provided.
* Provide and receive technical support to end users and field labour when applicable.
* Programming and troubleshooting skills.
* High-level customer service focus and ability to perform under pressure.
* Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently with a self-starter mindset.
* Solid mechanical / electrical aptitude and proficiency in MS Office.
* Willingness to travel locally (minimal overnight stays).
* Flexibility to participate in an on-call roster.

Licences & Certifications

* Current Victorian Security Licence.
* Current Driver's Licence.
* White Card and relevant trade certifications.
* OH&S awareness.
* EWP Licence (desirable).
* Vendor / system certifications (e.g. Gallagher, Integriti) highly regarded.
