Overview
Echuca Regional Health is seeking a motivated and experienced Oncology Pharmacist. This role includes being responsible for the day-to-day management of oncology and haematology medications at the Cancer and Wellness Centre. Part of this role may also include clinical roles in the acute hospital and assisting in the pharmacy department.
Responsibilities
* Responsibility for the daily coordination and management of the Cancer and Wellness Centre pharmacy, ensuring timely and accurate preparation, sourcing and supply of oncology medications for patients.
* Work within the Cancer and Wellness Centre to develop and establish a sustainable, best-practice oncology pharmacy service in line with legislation, professional guidelines and standards.
* Being trained as the ERH CHARM project office (CPO), the oncology information management system, including medication charts and treatment pathways.
* Attendance at meetings, designing and implementing quality improvement and risk management activities, data collection and presentation are also key parts of this role, as well as collaborating with our medical and nursing teams.
Qualifications/experience
* Current AHPRA Registration as a Pharmacist
* Member of Advanced Pharmacy Australia or international equivalent
* Completion of Masters degree in clinical pharmacy, pharmacy practice and/or equivalent
* Experience in the area of chemotherapy, oncology and haematology
