**About the role and where you will be working**:
In accordance with the mission, values and strategic objectives of Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc. (SCC), Support and assist to develop and continuously improve initiatives in place to maximise the employee experience and deliver the employee value proposition strategy. Including but not limited to; onboarding experiences, recognition, and activities to build teamwork and employee connection to SCC.

This position is located in our central office in Rivervale and has the flexibility to work from home two or three days a week.

**We'll also be asking you to**:

- Provide a point of contact as an ambassador for new hires to maximise their onboarding experience and provide a liasion point to new employees in their first months of employment
- Provide support and advice to line managers to build their skills to prepare for new employees and provide the best new employee experience
- Provide advice and support to new employees to ensure they are aware of and understand, their contract conditions and SCC employee benefits (Value proposition) such as salary sacrifice and provide an overview of employee self serve options.
- As required, check in on new employees to gauge their onboarding experience and troubleshoot with their manager
- Coordinate, analyse and report on new employee surveys, providing input into retention strategies to reduce turnover within first 12 months of employment
- Coordinate the delivery, review and reporting of other surveys and processes to gauge employee engagement
- Support the development and accessibility (intranet availability) of tools and processes to support line manager to prepare for new employees and provide the best new employee experience
- Support the development and accessibility (intranet availability) of relevant self-serve information, for new employees and support in the development of online induction programs referencing such
- Coordinate, support and promote the Service Recognition program including evaluations and continuous improvements
- Provide administration support for the roll out and continuous improvement of the Employee Value proposition/ recognition programs

**About you**:
This person will have 1-3 years experience in a similar role ideally working in a not for profit.

**To be considered for this role, you'll need:

- **
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to make connections with employees and represent SCC.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements across the different areas of SCC
- Previous experience in data analysis and report writing
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills and the ability to prioritise responsibilities and multi-task
- Demonstrated knowledge of and understanding of recruitment and onboarding practices
- Competent in the use of information technology.
