Graduate AGV Engineer role involves delivering automated guided vehicle solutions, working on-site, and collaborating with a global leader in automation and robotics.
Your Role
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring quality and system processes within assigned projects
* Preparing AGV functionality and technical specifications
* Developing system design and programming of AGV systems
* Assisting in AGV system testing, integration, and factory testing
* Supporting installation specifications
* Testing and integration of AGV and PLC systems
* Commissioning AGVs on-site
* Managing project costs and schedules
* Participating in operator training
* Contributing to the development and improvement of AGV project delivery
About You
What you'll need:
* Degree in Mechatronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering
* Recent graduate or 1-2 years experience
* Knowledge of PLC configuration, programming, and commissioning
* Basic programming skills (PLC Structured Text, SICK Devices, C or C++ highly desirable)
* Experience with networking, monitoring, diagnosis, and troubleshooting
* Experience in electrical design using AutoCAD or similar 2D and 3D drawing packages
* Experience with automation or materials handling highly desirable
* Strong communication skills
