We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our team in our Broome office. This casual role will work locally in Broome while reporting to our Finance Manager based in Perth, assisting with the accurate processing of supplier invoices and maintaining organised accounts records. With our local Operations Manager there to assist, you will drive the maintenance and processing of invoices and records with confidence and autonomy.

The Role
This role is ideal for someone looking for family-friendly hours in a casual role working 1–2 days per week, ideally Wednesdays, continuing to apply your prior experience in accounts administration, bookkeeping support, or data entry. Flexibility may be discussed surrounding the preferred workdays and hours for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Scanning and entering supplier invoices into the accounting system
* Maintaining organised digital records of invoices and related documentation
* Liaising with suppliers regarding invoice queries when required
* Communicating with Head Office regarding accounts processing
* Ensuring invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner
* Assisting with general accounts administration as required
About you
* Previous experience in accounts administration, accounts payable, bookkeeping support, or data entry preferred
* Experience using Microsoft Office and accounting software. Knowledge of MYOB or Xero is highly beneficial.
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
* Ability to manage large volumes of data and meet deadlines
* High standards of customer service, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Positive and proactive attitude
* Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling financial information
* Ability to work independently while maintaining communication with the Perth office
