Bay Leaf Cafe and dessert is a restaurant situated at Wagga Wagga, NSW and it is now seeking a passionate & innovative Cook to support its business growth.
Responsibilities
* Prepare food according to our recipe
* Extensive knowledge of breakfast, burger, salad, grill and dessert
* Showcase good food plating skill
* Examine food to ensure quality
* Regulate temperature of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment
* Season foods during cooking
* Portion food, place it in dishes, add gravies or sauces and garnish
* Store food in temperature control facilities
* Complete given prep tasks
* Train other kitchen staff and apprentices
* Cut raw fish and meat
* Daily stock check and help manager with ordering
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in hospitality; or Certificate III in hospitality or at least three years of relevant experience
* Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a commercial cafe or restaurant kitchen
* Visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates
* We welcome applications from qualified overseas professionals who meet the ANZSCO (Cook) requirements and can demonstrate relevant experience in cafe or restaurant environments.

Location: Wagga Wagga, NSW
Pay: A$75,500.00 - A$78,500.00 per year
