About the role:
The Pump House is on the hunt for a proven leader with drive and motivation to supercharge our pumping and irrigation operations. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Branch Manager will oversee the daily operations of your branch to ensure smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service. You'll lead a small team, inspire great performance, and ensure customers receive the best possible experience. In this hands-on leadership role, you'll set the standard for service, culture, and Branch success from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
•Work closely with the Area Manager to roll out business, product and sales plans that boost revenue and grow market share across different areas.
•Provide expert, professional customer service and practical advice to customers and your team.
•Oversee systems and processes to ensure the branch is operating efficiently and consistently hitting or exceeding targets.
•Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and key stakeholders who know they can rely on you.
•Lead, support and develop your team (Retail Sales, Warehousing, and Servicing) so everyone's aligned, capable, and delivering real results.
What You'll Bring
•A proven track record running a branch or business unit — not just maintaining but driving growth and owning results.
•A client-first, result-driven mindset — you know how to connect with everyone from farmers to tradies to commercial contractors.
•Hands-on leadership — you show up for your team, support them and lead by example.
•Product knowledge is preferred but not essential in plumbing, pumping, irrigation, or trade distribution. Ability to learn quickly is key.
•Communication and relationship-building skills that open doors to new opportunities.
