Sydney Children's Hospitals Network is the largest paediatric health care entity in Australia. We care for thousands of children each year in our hospitals and in their homes — with one purpose in mind — to help young people live their healthiest lives.
This is an exciting opportunity for a mature, experienced and energetic Medical Secretary with exceptional organisational office skills to join our busy Administrative Team in the Cancer Centre for Children at The Children's Hospital at Westmead. Ideally, we are looking for an applicant with a healthcare background who is comfortable working in a busy team environment and have the ability to multi-task.
This is a temporary part time position, 32 hours per week with an expected commencement date of February ****.
Business hours Monday to Friday, working alongside like-minded professionals within a busy Multidisciplinary Team environment. Perfect for someone living in the local area.
Where you'll be working
The Cancer Centre for Children at The Children's Hospital at Westmead is the largest childhood paediatric cancer department, with the busiest referral centre, in New South Wales.
What you'll be doing
The Medical Secretary provides a comprehensive range of high-level administrative/clerical services to support the achievement of the Cancer Centre for Children outcomes.
About You
Has experience working as a medical secretary in a busy healthcare environment.
Strong communication skills - written and verbal with the capacity to communicate effectively with doctors, staff, patients, other health care professionals as well as external stakeholders.
