The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated individual to volunteer as our Rail Operations Manager.
This is a pivotal, safety-critical leadership role, requiring significant commitment to oversee all aspects of DRR's rail operations.
You will be responsible for managing train movements, rostering and overseeing train crews, ensuring strict adherence to the DRR Rulebook and Safety Management System, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Extensive rail operations experience and relevant qualifications are HIGHLY desired.Key Responsibilities & DutiesOversee and manage all aspects of daily rail operations, including train movements, scheduling, and incident response.Manage, roster, and provide oversight for train crews (Locomotive Drivers, Train Guards), ensuring their competency and compliance.Ensure strict adherence to the DRR Rulebook, Safety Management System (SMS), and all relevant rail safety legislation and regulations (ONRSR).
