About the Role
We are seeking a visionary Enterprise Architect to join a leading financial institution and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of banking architecture. This role focuses on designing and governing enterprise-wide solutions that address non-financial risk domains, including Operational Risk, Strategic Risk, Compliance Risk, and Cyber Risk.
As a strategic leader, you will collaborate across business and technology teams to ensure architectural alignment with regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks, and digital transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a conduit between business and technical teams to deliver data and analytics outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare requirements for data analysis, design and solution delivery.
Assist stakeholders with requirements and estimations to enable them to plan their budgets..
Ability to engage and liaise with technology vendors in the delivery of solutions.
Results-driven with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
Develop high level solution designs and define roadmaps for onboarding new data warehousing projects.
Develop high level solution designs to transition legacy data platforms.
Be responsible for translating the Information Management (IM) strategy into technical reality.
Review and ensure quality of deliverables by other parties.
Develop standards, frameworks, and best practices for data management.
Play a critical role in the adoption journey.
Direct and assist the technical team in delivering on architectural intent and quality.
Required Experience & Skills
Minimum 5+ years of enterprise architecture experience
Experience collaborating with non-technical business areas to analyse requirements and recommend solutions.
Experience in designing data visualisation and cloud technologies.
Experience in designing and implementing AI and data governance frameworks is highly desirable.
Experience with data modelling and analytics design methodologies.
Stakeholder management skills, with experience working with business leaders and technical teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology or related discipline or equivalent.
5 years' experience in information analysis and data architecture.
