We are seeking a Supply & Distribution Manager to coordinate the end-to-end movement of bulk and breakbulk cargoes from vessel discharge through to final delivery.
The role focuses on planning and coordinating supply chain and distribution activities, including liaising with receivers, transport providers, stevedores, port operators, and storage facilities. The position is responsible for managing cargo flow, scheduling transport movements, and resolving distribution or congestion issues as they arise.
Key responsibilities include coordinating cargo receival and dispatch, managing logistics schedules, monitoring distribution performance, and ensuring compliance with Australian biosecurity, safety, and port operating requirements. The role also involves maintaining accurate documentation and operational records and supporting incident or delay management.
The role requires flexibility in working hours, as attendance may be required during vessel operations, cargo movements, or transport activities, including outside normal business hours.
The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics or supply chain coordination, preferably within a maritime or port-related environment, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and coordination capabilities.
