About the role
We are currently seeking a Human Resources Manager at our Wilpinjong Mine. Our Wilpinjong mine is an open‑cut mine located 58 kilometers northeast of Mudgee producing a high quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets.
As the HR Manager, you will report to the Director HR Operations based in Brisbane. The scope of your role will be to foster a culture of direct engagement and provide advice and support to the Site Leadership Team and employees across such areas as IR, ER, performance management, employee engagement and retention, recruitment, diversity and inclusion, cultural change, organisational development and reporting.
Additionally, you will support the leadership development of site supervisors and managers.
The lifestyle
This position is offered on a Monday to Friday roster with one rostered day off per month and can allow for a residential lifestyle.

About you
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business, Psychology or similar
* Extensive practical experience in a site-based HR generalist role covering IR, ER, workforce planning, performance management, recruitment, cultural change, organisational development and HR reporting
* Demonstrated success facilitating cultural change, previous success in fostering a direct engagement culture will be highly regarded
* Excellent communicator, strong interpersonal and influencing skills with a customer service focus
* Excellent planning and organising skills
