Procurement Officer
Monadelphous is seeking a highly motivated Procurement Officer to join our PNG Operations team on a full-time basis. This role will be based in the Brisbane Office Monday to Friday, with occasional site visits to Papua New Guinea.
Key Responsibilities
* Liaising with suppliers and external service providers for hiring, purchasing, invoicing and other procurement/subcontract administration activities.
* Expediting supplier lead times, documentation and logistics.
* Document control with regards to vendor documentation.
* Working closely with the Project Manager and project team both on and off-site regarding procurement.
* Raising purchase orders, variations, credit requests and receipting of goods.
* Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures across the project.
* Organising information into procurement databases and producing reports.
* Flexibility to support additional areas, such as project document control.
What You Will Bring
* 2+ years' experience in a procurement position in the construction or resources sector.
* Demonstrable experience using MS Office Suite and operating document control systems.
* High attention to detail and accuracy in work produced.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Excellent time management skills and proven experience achieving tight deadlines.
* Proven ability to work as a team player, eagerness to learn new systems and work in dynamic environments.
* Proof of right to work in Australia and a valid passport.
