We are seeking an experienced leader to take ownership of the day-to-day maintenance activities across our Liebherr excavator fleet. This is a hands-on supervisory position, responsible for driving safe, efficient and cost-conscious maintenance outcomes while ensuring all reporting and documentation requirements are met.
You will play a key role in setting expectations on safety, performance and teamwork, while supporting fitters to deliver high-quality maintenance and repair outcomes
Key responsibilities:
* Oversee and coordinate maintenance and repair activities to meet safety, budget and scheduling targets
* Provide visible leadership on the floor, setting the standard for safe work practices
* Ensure all maintenance work and daily activities are accurately documented and reported
* Build strong working relationships and foster a collaborative, high-performing team environment
* Identify opportunities for improvement and lead teams to develop and implement practical solutions
* Actively promote a strong and positive safety culture across the maintenance team
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
* Extensive experience supervising Excavator Fitters, with strong exposure to Liebherr equipment required
* A recognised trade qualification
* A proven track record of leading teams with a strong safety focus and positive safety outcomes
* Current Mining Supervisor competencies (G1, G8, G9) – formerly S1, S2, S3
* Current G2 – Carry out the Risk Management Process (RIIRIS402D)
* Current Standard 11 and valid Driver's Licence
