About the Role Our agricultural client has been live on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central for several years and is seeking an experienced EC Specialist to provide day-to-day system support and operational expertise on the ground in Australia. This role is critical as the organisation reviews its broader HR operating model across countries and regions. You will be the key SAP SF EC resource in Australia, working closely with international counterparts to ensure system stability, data integrity, and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on functional role suited to someone with strong SuccessFactors Employee Central expertise, HR systems knowledge, and experience supporting enterprise HR operations within complex global environments. Key Responsibilities Lead post-go-live stabilisation and optimisation activities across payroll and time systems Act as the functional SME for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) and Workforce Software Support payroll and time operations by troubleshooting complex system and process issues Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to assess business impact, prioritise issues, and drive resolution Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on payroll accuracy, operational efficiency, and employee experience Define and document business requirements for system enhancements and process improvements Support governance, business intake, prioritisation, and HR-led sustainment processes Ensure payroll and time systems comply with Australian legislative and regulatory requirements Support reporting, data validation, and HR/payroll insights initiatives Collaborate with global stakeholders to align local operations with global HR technology standards and frameworks Requirements Key Requirements Deep hands-on experience with: SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) Workforce Software (Time & Attendance) Extensive experience supporting enterprise payroll and time systems in large environments Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll operations, integrations, and time data dependencies Experience supporting post-implementation / BAU HRIS environments Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration skills Proven ability to operate as a senior SME across HR, Payroll, and IT functions Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement capability Experience working within global HR technology environments preferred Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, compliance, taxation, superannuation, and leave frameworks Success Profile Operates as a trusted SME and business partner across HR, Payroll, and IT Comfortable leading within complex post-go-live environments Proactive, solutions-oriented, and operationally focused Able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on functional execution Drives standardisation, governance, and long-term system sustainability Benefits 12-month contract opportunity Melbourne preferred with flexible working arrangements Opportunity to support a major enterprise HR transformation environment Work across SAP SuccessFactors ECP and Workforce Software ecosystems Exposure to complex global HR technology operations and governance Highly collaborative environment across HR, Payroll, IT, and international stakeholders Opportunity to influence post-go-live optimisation and continuous improvement initiatives Work within a large-scale enterprise environment with long-term roadmap visibility
