We are seeking an experienced
Process Engineer
to join our team and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and safety. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze and improve process workflows, troubleshoot production issues, and implement process improvements that align with business objectives. Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes and systems to improve product quality, increase efficiency, and reduce costs.
* Conduct process analysis and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and cost reductions.
* Develop process flow diagrams, P&IDs (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams), and other engineering documentation.
* Collaborate with production teams to implement new processes, test changes, and evaluate the impact on operations.
* Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and disruptions.
* Analyze data from production lines to identify trends and performance gaps, and develop solutions to address these gaps.
* Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., R&D, quality control, operations) to develop and implement new product designs or modifications to existing processes.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards, working to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
* Provide technical expertise and guidance on process-related topics to junior engineers and operators.
* Prepare and present reports on process performance, improvement projects, and cost-benefit analyses to senior management.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* 3-5 years of experience in process engineering or a similar manufacturing/industrial role.
* Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and troubleshooting techniques.
* Familiarity with process simulation and modeling tools (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS, MATLAB) is a plus.
* Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.
* Knowledge of industry safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, ISO, EPA).
* Proficient with process documentation tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MS Office Suite).
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
