Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker to join our team at our port in Newcastle.
Main Responsibilities:
* Fault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems will be essential duties of the role.
* The successful candidate must be able to respond promptly to equipment failures or breakdowns as they occur.
* Maintenance reports must be prepared and submitted as requested.
* Effective use of the SAP Maintenance platform for record-keeping is required.

Requirements
* A relevant trade certificate in mechanical fitting, turning, boiler making, or similar is mandatory.
* Proven fault-finding capabilities, proactive approach, safety focus, computer literacy, self-motivation, reliability, strong time management, and communication skills are highly valued.
* Experience working at heights and in confined spaces is essential.
