Primary Objective
Become a cohesive member of our Broiler service team to oversee all contract and Hazeldene Broiler farms.
Key Reponsibilities
Responsible for the detailed and diligent servicing of Hazeldene’s broiler farm network. Undertake continued appraisal of broiler farms to ensure optimal performance is being achieved. Provide written reports of observations and recommendations. Corrective actions to be implemented and/or findings reported to the Broiler Group Manager.Follow and implement all company policies and procedures regarding animal welfare, WHS, environmental and biosecurityLiaise with other sections of farming including the Hatchery, Processing and Programming divisionsAlways maintain confidentiality regarding the business of Hazeldene’s Chicken Farm Pty Ltd.
Essential Skills
Previous experience in livestock management, particularly poultry with a sound commitment to the welfare of stock.Current driver's licenseExcellent communicator with a strong ability to read, write and communicate in EnglishExcellent leadership skills including conflict resolution and problem solvingKnowledge of Quality Systems, WHSE procedures and good understanding of how day to day activities could impact on the Animal Welfare, Biosecurity and Environment
