About the role
To provide essential administrative and operational support to the Residential Finance team, focusing on the accurate maintenance of resident data, reconciliation of high-volume financial transactions, and ensuring data integrity for reporting in compliance with aged care regulations.
Key Responsibilities
* Revenue Administration & Data Integrity:
* Optimise government subsidies and maintain precise resident financial data to prevent revenue leakage.
* Download, process, and daily update fees from Services Australia letters, including basic, hotelling supplement, means tested, higher every living, and daily accommodation payments/contributions (DAP/DAC).
* Set up and maintain Residents' Accommodation Deposits (RADs)/Contributions (RACs), including receipting and fortnightly billing, and execute legislated fee increases.
* Reconcile Medicare payment statements with the CIM resident database.
* Accounts Receivable & Resident Liaison:
* Serve as the first point of contact for resident enquiries regarding fees, Services Australia letters, and accommodation payments.
* Oversee accommodation bond accounts, including daily statement downloads, and liaise with residents and their representatives about significant fee changes.
* Documentation & Regulatory Support:
* Ensure full adherence to the Aged Care Act and Prudential Standards.
* Prepare RAD/RAC refunds within legislated timeframes and reconcile client accounts prior to refunding.
* Ensure all financial records meet standards for external auditing and Department of Health reviews.

About you
The successful candidate will have the following;
* Experience: Administrative or Finance Background.
* Skills: Data Integrity & Numeracy, Communication & Time Management.

* Knowledge (Highly Regarded but not Essential): A basic understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
