About our Opportunity
Our Tasmanian team are looking for a Contracts Administrator to work on various projects across the state. Reporting to our Executive Director, Tasmania, the ideal candidate could be based in our Launceston or Hobart offices.
In this newly created role, you will collaborate with our Cost Management and Project Controls teams to deliver work which exceeds our clients' expectations and embeds our reputation as a trusted advisor. Critical to your success will be your prior experience managing a range of commercial contracts in differing sectors, your budget management skills, and your ability to convey complex information clearly.

Bringing progressive construction industry experience gained in the successful administration of commercial and / or civil infrastructure projects in excess of $20 million in value, you will have:
· Sound knowledge of various forms of procurement and applicable contracts;
· Highly developed commercial management skills including the ability to apply contractual requirements in a project delivery framework with a demonstrated awareness of the client's project risk profile;
· Demonstrated experience assessing changes to project scope, negotiating variations, and managing client contingency budgets; and
· Proven ability to develop project programs for various type and sizes of construction projects.
Together with your technical knowledge and experience, you will have a high level of service delivery orientation and understanding of budget adherence. You will bring developed stakeholder engagement skills coupled with the ability to influence and negotiate. With strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, you will have exemplary organisational planning skills to effectively prioritise and manage competing demands.
