Overview
General Practitioner role with Serco – ADF Health Services in Richmond North, New South Wales, Australia. Part-time position delivering primary medical care to Australian Defence Force personnel.
Responsibilities
* Deliver primary medical care to patients in accordance with professional standards, legislation, and Defence Policies and Procedures.
* Be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the health and wellbeing of Defence members.
* Assess Defence personnel for fitness for duty and provide care that supports health and wellbeing pre- and post-deployment.
* Provide medical technical advice to the Joint Health Unit (JHU) CO, Joint Health Command Health Centre Manager, and unit Commanders.
* Be supported by a team of Senior Medical Officers and uniformed colleagues.
* Provide services in outpatient or inpatient settings as required.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Medical Practitioner, General in Australia with AHPRA.
* Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) OR Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM) OR Vocational Registration.
* Minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate general practitioner experience in a general practice setting within the last 5 years (or part-time equivalent).
* Recent CPD activities in accordance with AHPRA.
* Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
* You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain the required Baseline Security Clearance.

In partnership with Bupa, the ADF Health Services team provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force personnel across 45+ on-base locations, ensuring access to quality on-site medical care.
About Richmond
Richmond Health Centre is located at RAAF Base Richmond, the oldest Air Force base in NSW, 50 km northwest of Sydney. It provides primary medical, aviation medical, outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services to Defence members. The base operates a 24-hour inpatient ward (closes on weekends). Standard operating hours are generally 0730-1630 Mon-Thu, and 0730-1400 Friday (subject to role requirements).
