The Role

This position is based at our Rockhampton office and reports to the Services Practice Manager. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team supporting the delivery of Psychology, Counselling, NDIS, and Social and Emotional Wellbeing services. Your role will be central to ensuring smooth administrative operations and effective service coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service to our consumers in person and via phone
- Perform front reception duties and general office administration
- Support the coordination and delivery of NDIS, Psychology, Counselling, and SEWB/MH clinics
- Assist staff with data collection and input for funding body reporting
- Contribute to evaluation, program specification, contract development, reporting, compliance, and performance management
- Support financial management tasks under direction of the Executive Assistant/Senior Administration Officer
- Provide administrative support for budgeting and financial processes
- Assist with community and service engagement activities
- Contribute to service-specific resource development
- Represent WWH in networking, promotional, and educational activities
- Support collaboration with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, government, and non-government services
- Participate in safety and quality initiatives aligned with National Mental Health Standards and ISO 9001:2015
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Participate in professional development, mentoring, supervision, and self-care
- Undertake other duties as negotiated
- This is an Identified position. Applicants must be Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, as per Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.

Qualifications & Requirements

- A current Working with Children (Blue Card) or exemption (at own expense - must be for a paid worker, not a volunteer)
- Queensland Disability Worker Screening or NDIS Worker Screening (at own expense)
- Criminal History check
- A valid driver’s licence
- Willingness to study during and after work to complete a Certificate IV of Mental Health

Skills & Attributes

- Ideally you will have had previous experience working in a similar role
- Proficiency with mobile phones, computers, and internet-based applications
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to support NDIS access for individuals with mental illness (or willingness to train)
- Capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage with diverse communities
- Initiative, teamwork, and respect for others
- Resilience and strong self-care practices
- Accountability for workplace health and safety
- Passion for enhancing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander wellbeing
