We’re currently seeking caring, reliable and hardworking Aged Care Cleaners to join our team across a number of aged care facilities in the Wollongong region.
These roles are ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a clean, safe and comfortable environment, and who understand the importance of their work in supporting residents’ wellbeing and dignity.
Key responsibilities:
* Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, living and dining areas
* Maintaining cleanliness in communal and high-traffic areas
* General cleaning duties including floors, surfaces, kitchens and common areas
* Rubbish removal and restocking of supplies
* Adhering to strict infection control, hygiene and safety protocols
* Reporting maintenance or safety concerns promptly
* Assisting with movement of equipment and stock as required
About you:
* Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or within a team
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
* Understanding of hygiene, dignity and presentation in an aged care environment
* Previous cleaning or aged care experience (desirable, but not essential – training provided)
* Willingness to work across nearby sites where required (some roles may require a valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle)
* Able to meet relevant compliance requirements, including holding (or obtaining) a valid Police Check and NDIS Worker Check
