We are Artifex Australia, a leading Australian manufacturer of residential and commercial furniture. We are strictly wholesale and have been distributing our designs across Australia for over 40 years. We are one of only a few Australian manufacturers that do everything in house, from cutting foam to making bespoke metal frames, unique timber furniture hardware and quality upholstery finishes.
We currently have a great team of over 20 staff, and are now looking for another team member in production working in our sewing and cutting department.
Based in Kelmscott Western Australia, we are seeking the services of a skilled sewer/cutter to join our team. Must take pride in their work with preferred experience cutting fabric and leather for furniture, with pattern matching capabilities and preferable but not essential, twin needle and walking foot machines.
We will offer a competitive rate based on your experience and abilities.
·Experience in both fabric and leather would be advantageous.
·Permanent position after a trial/probation period of 3 months.
·38hr work week, Mon-Thur 8hrs, Fri 6hrs with potential over time.
·Tools and equipment supplied.·Parking Onsite with air-conditioned work place.
