About the role
* Our client is an Australian-based dairy company that is now distributing and growing sizably internationally.
* They are based in Jindivick
* 8am-4pm Monday to Friday
* Ongoing casual contract
Responsibilities
* Sampling, preparation, testing and analysis of chemical, microbial samples and raw materials
* Liaise with internal and external stakeholders via verbal and written means to communicate accurate test results
* Maintain, operate, calibrate and troubleshoot the laboratory equipment correctly as required
* Housekeeping of the laboratory environment
Qualifications
* Tertiary education in Food Science, Microbiology, Biochem, Chemistry or Laboratory Techniques would be ideal
* Previous laboratory experience.
* Excellent computer and report writing skills.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and time management skills.
* Must possess initiative and enthusiasm
