To be Successful:
1. Certificate III or IV qualification in a relevant field such as Individual Support or Disability, or completion of First Year of Bachelor of Nursing
2. Fully Vaccinated (3 x Covid shots, Flu Vaccination, Proof of immunity towards Whooping cough, measles, HepB and chicken pox)
3. Full Working rights
4. Currently hold or willing to obtain a National Police Check
5. 6 months plus paid experience in providing care and support to individuals with a range of needs.
6. NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
7. Current CPR and First Aid (level 2)
8. Current Australian Driver's License

Key Responsibilities:
1. Support individuals with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
2. Provide emotional support and companionship to individuals, ensuring their wellbeing and safety.
3. Assist individuals with their medication and attend medical appointments with them as required.
4. Promote independence and encourage individuals to achieve their goals and aspirations.
5. Maintain accurate records and document all activities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
6. Communicate effectively with other professionals involved in the individual's care, including family members and healthcare professionals.
Other Requirements:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Empathy, compassion, and a positive attitude towards supporting others.
3. Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect individuals' privacy.
4. Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and willingness to follow company policies and procedures.
