Our isolation helps drive a culture of creation and human connection, which feels both old fashioned and… like the only future worth pursuing.Medical Practitioners (Public Sector) AwardA remuneration package comprising the Agreement base salary, relevant allowances and other entitlements will be negotiatedwith the successful applicant dependent on clinical experience and seniority.Base salary points range for Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1 at $216,300 through to Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 11 at $296,640 with further salary increments available.Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $300,216 - $310,389 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) AwardIn addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:Provision ofa fully maintained private plated motor vehicle (subject to working full-time hours) OR allowance in lieu of motor vehicle currently set at $28,786 pro rata per annum, paid fortnightly (with CPI indexation on 1 July each year).Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $16,480 pro rata per annum.You will have access to accommodation and relocation costs.On call allowance % of Base Salary.All other allowances as per current Award.And subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of Base salary plus on-call, pro rata) of additional payment will be paid from (PPS). If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid.Other Benefits:You will have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.Fitness Passport – You, and your family can access 40+ fitness facilities across Tasmania for just $13.95 per week per person, or $25.95 for a family.Details of AppointmentFixed term full-time day work (with on-call), working 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible for a period of 3 yearsApplicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time and casual vacancies.Holds specialist registration; orIs a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who is on the specialist pathway; orIs a registered Medical Practitioner who is an International Medical Graduate (IMG) who has a recognised overseas specialist qualification and is assessed as having sufficient experience in the speciality.The Head of the State Service has determined that the person nominated for this job is to satisfy a pre‑employment check before taking up the appointment, on promotion or transfer.
